Stephen C. Morris
was born in 1949 in

. He went to
high school at St. Mark’s
School

Texas

Dallas
, graduating in 1967. After
one year of undergraduate studies at
Washington
University
in
St. Louis
, he transferred to the
University
of
Texas
at
Austin
. There, he
received his BA degree in mathematics and was elected to Phi
Beta Kappa in 1970. Dr.
Morris attended Baylor College of Dentistry in
Dallas
from 1970 to 1974, obtaining his DDS degree and admittance
to Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
He was awarded the Gold Medal for academic
achievement upon graduation from dental school.
He spent the next thirty nine months in an internship
and residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at
Parkland
Memorial
Hospital
in
Dallas
, the
Dallas
Veterans
Administration
Hospital
in
Dallas
, and
John
Petersmith
Hospital
in
Ft.
Worth
. He received
his certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1977.
Dr. Morris then established private
practices of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in
Dallas
and
Mesquite
,
Texas
. He became a
diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial
Surgeons in 1980. After
practicing in
Texas
for eight years, he moved to
Pinellas
County
to begin his current practice in 1985.
He has continuously been an active member of local,
state, and national societies in dentistry and oral surgery.
Dr. Morris is an avid golfer, plays
pool, and enjoys sculpting in clay and stone.
After over thirty years in Oral Surgery, he still
enjoys the challenges of private practice.
